Hi, I am Ed. I live in New Bern, North Carolina but have lived everywhere. I am originally from West Virginia, grew up in Florida, joined the Marine Corps and traveled far. I love many things, my wife, my kids, my job and my art. My grandfather taught me to love the mountains and the woods. Likewise I love the ocean where I spent my teenage years in the Gulf of Mexico. I now have developed a love for eastern North Carolina, a place where I have made my home for several years.

I did my first painting in 1978 and have recently decided to share some of my newer creations. If you travel to New Bern North Carolina you may see me at my easel painting around the town. If you see me, I'll be the one wearing the hawaiian shirts, stop and talk, there is probably a story about what I am painting, I would like to share them with you.
